Like it's predecessor Gates ME20 Housing system, the new ML-105 is an ultra low-light underwater imaging system, capable of operating in environments nearly absent of light. Gates ML-105 Housing is designed to push the boundaries of underwater motion imaging, revealing natural bioluminescence, moonlit reefs, luminescent marine critters (like lanterneye fish), dimly lit caves and other light challenged scenes without the aid of additional, artificial lighting. Such breakthrough imaging is enabled by the Canon ML-105 camera, capable of incredible low light performance over 4 million ISO.
The Canon ML-105 camera is a remarkable 50% smaller than the ME20. This means a considerably smaller housing system with an integrated, rear-viewable 5.2 inch Atomos Ninja monitor / recorder. And unlike the ME20, the ML-105 Housing includes Gates GCC Command / Control module, providing direct access to camera functions.

The SP80-10 is a 10in / 254mm spherical dome port that, like it's smaller SP80-8 sibling preserves field of view (FOV) underwater for wide to fisheye imaging. The SP80-10 however, exhibits superior compatibility with rectilinear lenses, mitigating the soft corners classically found with dome ports in general. This particularly beneficial with certain cinema PL mount glass like Arri Master Primes and Ultra Primes. The SP80-10 is available in Anti-Reflective (AR) coated glass only. For medium to wide and fisheye imaging, the SP80-10 excels at rectilniear imaging, particularly with PL mount cinema lenses.
