Gates Immersive Housing opens the underwater world to Apple Vision Pro
Gates Immersive Housing is a dedicated underwater imaging system designed expressly for the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera from Blackmagic Design. An integrated platform, Gates Immersive Housing acquires was developed in close collaboration with Apple and Blackmagic Design, and features precise camera alignment and underwater calibration to ensure comfortable, distortion-free viewing on Apple Vision Pro. The system leverages the camera's dual 8K sensors (8160 x 7200 per eye) for ultra-high-resolution, stereoscopic 3D immersive video at 90fps, recording to a single Blackmagic RAW file for simplified workflows in DaVinci Resolve Studio.
Key features include full field imaging behind an impressive 12in / 305mm AR coated glass dome port; Housing controls for solo diver operation, or surface tethers for full remote command / control; fast media / battery change; system calibration matching camera + dome + housing as a unique combination; and Gates EM7 CINE External Monitor for the SmallHD Cine 7 LCD.

Gates EM7 CINE Underwater Monitor Housing is a bespoke, glove-fit for the SmallHD CINE 7 LCD, offering a vivid 1800 nit 1900x1200 resolution display, visible even the bright daylight of shallow tropical waters. As with all Gates External Monitors, its adjustable base can tilt / swivel to any position for the perfect viewing angle. Simple, robust SDI interface that is broadly compatible with a variety of Gates Housings for RED, ARRI, and Sony. Two power options are available: 2x Sony L-series batteries (with optional shell extension), or a slim, travel-able version driven by the camera power source from the main camera housing shell. For the perfect trim, EM7 CINE can be either slightly negative or perfectly neutral buoyancy with included trim float -- no 'turtling'!

Optical glass with anti-reflective coating, SP110-12 is designed for rectilinear cinema lenses, yet equally at home in natural history applications where split shots and close focus are key parameters. ARRI Master Primes, Fujinon Cinema Zoom's and Anamorphic Lenses all benefit from this superior, 'no compromises' Dome Port. The SP110-12 is available in Anti-Reflective (AR) coated glass only. For medium to wide and fisheye imaging, the SP110-12 excels at rectilinear imaging, particularly with PL mount cinema lenses.
