This means the absolute clearest, sharpest, distortion free imaging possible can be achieved with the Gates VX2000- M/PD150-M housings.

High Performance – means distortion free, high resolution, full zoom-through capability. The Super Wide Angle Port can also be used in both air and water for “split” images.

Multi Coated Glass – the Super Wide Angle Port has 6 high precision glass elements, all with a custom High Efficiency Broad Band Anti-Reflective (HEBBAR) coating, providing superior light transmission. The elements are assembled with a nitrogen purge and vacuum seal process, and the external BK-7 element is sealed with a hard coating that stands up to seawater and aggressive post-dive cleaning.

Finest Construction – In addition to being a matched lens, the Super Wide Angle Port high precision glass elements are nitrogen sealed in a clean-room environment, and mounted in an hard anodized aluminum shell for strength and stability.
