What Customers Say... |
I have been
diving with the sharks for many years. I have worked with many different
housings and in my opinion the Gates housing is the best that I ever
had. The mechanical controls function flawlessly where as with electronic
controls there is much room for malfunction. In my particular case,
there is nothing shiny that will bother the sharks.

"I have
used the Gates PD150 housing over four years in marine biological and
archaeological work in the Baltic. When diving difficult access, deep
offshore wrecks, or witnessing some unique occurrence of marine life,
you want to be able to concentrate at the job at hand, not problems
with camera gear! Having used many designs of U/W housings, Gates reliability,
logical user controls and perfect trim in water has become the industry
standard for me. No more chances!"

Wherever I go, from the Red Sea to the South Pacific, the Sea of Cortez, the Carribean and beyond, my Gates holds up under the most rugged of circumstances. Patti Balian |

"It's
solid, essential and easy to use, reliable and... nice. If you are in
the open sea, ready for your dive hoping to meet sharks, mantas or...
your desire is only to bring back unforgettable images for your public.
For this reason I decided to give up faulty electronic systems choosing
Gates Housing and Ports for PDX10. No more Chances to take..."

We went to
Socorro recently (a Seawatch Production) and used the Gates Z1 housing.
It was really on. I was really happy to see how all of the controls
lined up perfectly and how easily the camera entered inside the housing.
