"The versatility and reliability of my Gates Housing (VX2000) has been great for both wide angle and close-up work. On a recent trip we experienced stormy seas for several consecutive days. As the boat was relatively small the photographic equipment really took a beating. That initial trepidation of immersing my expensive camera in the ocean after all that was fortunately not necessary because I chose to "take a Gates".

HOLLYWOODIVERS since 1991.

"I have a 3CCD TRV Sony in my Gates Housing used in all
kinds of conditions; warm and humid to cold and dry. Never had a leak, and I don't have to baby it. I regularly rent this housing to professional camera departments for
productions in Los Angeles and it always gets good reviews. These
housings are still as tough and easy to control as ever."

“Gates support and technical advise they made the transition from electronic to manual controls easy and painless. In just a few dives you can easily master all of the controls and access all the settings important to a professional videographer. The housing is built like a tank, no cheap plastic handles here. If you've ever seen how baggage handlers treat your equipment cases this is a very important feature. If you've every seen how most cameramen treat their housings it become an even more important feature.”
