Video Splitter / Amplifier DF773
The DF773 splits and amplifies surface feed video signals, especially when extended lengths of cable are required. Feeds in excess of 1000ft / .304m coax are readily handled while simultaneously providing a passive feed to an external monitor on the housing, which remains active even if battery power is exhausted.

Water Alarm
For that extra peace of mind, Gates offers an optional moisture detector for nearly all housings. In the rare event that water enters your housing, the detector sets off a shrill warning heard underwater.

UR Pro
UR Pro Color correction filters are available in ‘blue water’ and ‘green water’ versions. Blue water is standard on all Gates housings, green water optional. Both are available in optical polycarbonate and glass.

When ordering specify the housing model and serial number, green or blue water, and glass or optical polycarbonate.

Diopters
Close up diopter kits with +1, +2 and +4 magnification glass lenses are available for use with Gates Flat Ports. Diopters allow macro imaging of very small subjects like Nudibranchs, Pygmy Sea Horses and Christmas Tree Worms.

When ordering specify you camera model and lens size (e.g. 37mm, 58mm, 72mm)

Pelican Cases (www.Pelican.com)
Hard sided Pelican cases are available for traveling with your Gates housing. Popular sizes are model 1550, 1600, 1610 and 1620, however any Pelican case is available through Gates. If purchased with a housing the protective foam will be plucked for a glove-like fit.

For strobes or lights, Ultralight manufactures the finest arms and arm accessories for above and below water use. Gates can supply any configuration to suit your housing system needs.

Gates Pole III– GPL8
Versatile Pole Cam with Articulating Control

The Gates Pole III is your ticket to capturing underwater images without getting wet! Mounting directly to your Gates housing, the Gates Pole III has an articulating head for viewing in all directions, including up and down pivot. Video can be viewed above water, too, with an optional video out connector, cable, and a Gates external color monitor mounted to the handle for easy viewing. The Gates Pole III is 8 feet / 2.4m and separates into two sections for easier travel. Custom lengths are also available.

Construction is 100% stainless steel and anodized aluminum, so you know it will withstand even the toughest use, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Gates pole is, of course, backed by Gates legendary 2 year warranty.

White Balance Slate

Gates “chamois” drying towel
Custom made for Gates, these drying towels are just like a chamois cloth – absorbent and soft. They are perfect for drying your Gates housing after a dive. Will not scratch or harm finishes.

Purosol port cleaner and micro fiber cleaning cloth
A mild but highly effective cleaning solution for all Gates ports. Will not harm coatings or finishes. 2 oz bottle includes micro fiber cloth.

Dow Corning 55 Silicone Lubricant
The same lubricant used by Gates factory technicians. Provided in a syringe applicator for perfect placement and sparing use.

Novus Plastic Polish and Cleaner
Specifically for use with Gates polymer domes, Novus Plastic Polish can minimize or remove small scratches. Kit includes 2 oz bottles of Novus #1 (for cleaning) and #2 (for fine scratch removal).

Caution: For plastic only. Do not use on glass and / or coated optics.

Gates recommends a complete overhaul every 2 years to ensure the good working condition of your Gates housings. With a factory overhaul we’ll renew the warranty for another 2 years even if the warranty has lapsed.
